Gentlemen:

Prof. Paul Tillich has received a letter from a minister1 of which I am sending you a copy of a paragraph concerning Dr. Tillich's „The Religious Situation“

..... As I write, there is yet one more matter which I recall I was to ask you about. The Rev. David Goto, who teaches Ethics in this University, has translated the Religious Situation and wants to know if you possess the copyright, and if so, if you would grant him permission to publish his translation. If the right is yours and you are willing to have him publish his translation, would you write to him and saying you are quite willing to have him do so.2
