My dear Mr. Tillich:

We are preparing a new and completely revised edition of the Funk & Wagnalls New Standard Encyclopedia. This new work will have a Consulting and Advisory Board whose members will read and criticize a small number of articles that fall in their particular fields. Their comments will then be sent on to us so that we may make whatever changes are necessary.

I am writing you to ask if you would care to join our Board.

Our fee for articles up to 1000 words is $ 10.; longer articles are remunerated at $ 15. each.

Would you please let me know at your earliest convenience whather we can count on your assistance.
