Dear Professor Tillich:

Thank you for your letter of March 28, about Professor Marck's book and his need of help in getting parts of it translated to make it suitable for publication in this country.

You will understand this whole matter was left pending when Stevens went to Japan, with a memorandum by Stevens in late January to the effect that you would let us have some recommendation after you had seen Professor Marck in Chicago. Thus, with your letter of March 28, I think I have the basis I need for seeing what can be arranged and would be glad to explore that possibility as promptly as I can.
