I have the honor to advise you that you have been appointed to be
Visiting Lecturer in Philosophy
in Columbia University at a salary at the rate of $1,200 per annum, payable monthly.

This appointment will take effect on July 1, 1933 and is made, in accordance with the provisions of the Charter, during the pleasure of the Trustees. The appointment will expire, unless renewed, on June 30, 1934
