Dear Sam:

I am enclosing my report in CHRISTIANITY AND CRISIS on the German situation.1 This of course is a very short article. So if you think I should send a larger typewritten report to CHURCH WORLD SERVICE, an acknowledgement for their sending me to Germany, I shall be glad to do it. If you think the enclosed article does the job I should be grateful if you give it in my name to the office of CHURCH WORLD SERVICE.

May I add that I fully agreed with your paper in Washington and regretted very much that you could not attend the other meetings. I think the discussion would have been more fruitful if you would ha[v]e been present. On Sunday morning I delivered a report on Germany.
