Dear Freda Kirchwey:

Would you be able to have a personal conversation, even of only a few minutes, with my former pupil of Frankfurt a/M wo would like to have some connection with the NATION. I know that your time is very limited but perhaps you can give him a quarter of an hour.

He is a very gifted writer and knows a lot about film. I am convinced that you will be interested in him. I am enclosing a short biography of Dr. Plant.1
