| TO THE VISITORS OF FRIENDSHIP HOUSE.

Dear Friends:

The Executive Committee of Friendship House desires that there be a well-rounded program of activities in Friendship House. To that end the following has been accepted by the Committee.

Every second Monday, beginning Monday, Jan. 27th, a meeting will take place in Friendship House where religious discussions of general interest will be discussed. Professors of Union Theological Seminary and other outstanding religious leaders will lead the discussion after a few words of introduction. Problems of the „Philosophy of Religion“, of „Religious Education“, of Church Membership, of religious ethics in the present world, of State and Church in Europe (Details anzeigen)^a and America (Details anzeigen)^b will be dealt with. (compare the enclosed program). Every visitor of Friendship House, whether within or without a special religious tradition is urgently invited to participate in these discussions. It is hoped that the Americans visiting Friendship House will also participate in these programs. These meetings will start at 8 P.M. and last as long as there are questions, but not beyond 10 P.M. The discussion will be held in English but there will be usually a possibility of having questions translated into other languages.

The one purpose of these meetings is to introduce to emigres the religious structure and activities of the churches in this country. The other purpose is to find in common search a religious interpretation of the present world situation and the fate of the individual as determined by it.
