Dear Prof Tillich:

I am indeed completely in your debt for the splendid promise you made to be a member of our Clinic on Evangelism faculty next June. This note will verify the dates – June 20th to 24th.

I cannot tell you the enthusiasm which your promise generated among our men. I can only trust that nothing will intervene which will prevent your coming.

I shall provably be in New York sometime during the winter and shall stop by and speak with you further.

I trust you have forgotten my family intrusion the other evening.
