Dear Mrs. Simmel (Details anzeigen):

I have received the letter from Mr. Kaplan (Details anzeigen) to you about the publications of Georg Simmel (Details anzeigen)'s books in English. The situation is exactly as Mr. Kaplan (Details anzeigen) describes it and I would not hesitate to write as he asks you to do. I have no copy of my letter to the University Press about this problem.1 But it may be that Mr. Kaplan (Details anzeigen) will receive the text of this part of our agreement from Mr. Fred Wieck (Details anzeigen), The University of Chicago Press, 5750 Ellis Avenue, Chicago (Details anzeigen), Ill. (Details anzeigen)

I[t] would be a great satisfaction for all of us if Georg Simmel (Details anzeigen)'s work which were of great importance to me, would be published in this country.
