Dear Dr. Curtz:

As I understand you have been kind enough to take interest in the career of my friend and former assistant, Dr. Hans Weil.

I have known Hans Weil since 1929 when I was Professor of Philosophy at the University of Frankfurt a/M. Dr. Weil was not only a well-known writer but he was also regarded as one of the best young teachers at the University in that time. He combines a great amount of creative thinking with practical educational abilities. He was a good speaker, having overcome the results of a childhood's accident with energy and passion for his work.

I would be grateful if you would help him to find a place in the field of education which, I believe, is his mission. I am sure he would do an excellent job as he has done it not only in Frankfurt a/M but also in Italy where he founded and headed his own school.

I shall be happy to give you any further information you may desire.
