Dear Mr. Morris:

I have written to my friend Dr. Wolfers, Master of Pierson College, whether I could stay with him the night of Wednesday May 8th to Thursday May 9th and I have told him that you will get in touch with him about the date of my coming to New Haven. If it is allright [sic!] with you that I meet your group Wednesday night and if this fits Dr. Wolfers with whom I have to talk for quite a time also agrees with the date, we may leave it at that. If you find out from him that he would prefer another day in the same week it is allright [sic!] with me. May I ask you to get in touch with him as soon as you have received this letter and let me know the day you have decided about since I have to plan an obligation in New London in connection with that date.

I am looking forward to seeing you again, not only in Yale but also for a more important event in July in East Hampton.
