Dear Mrs. Staudinger (Details anzeigen):

Referring to our telephone conversation I would like to ask you again for help for Mr. Hans Sahl (Details anzeigen).

Hans Sahl (Details anzeigen) is known to me for many years. He is one of the few German poets and writers who deserves special attention and all assistance possible. His talent and his abilities are far above average, and I am convinced that his novel is one of the few worthwhile to be published. For that reason he should be supported at least for another 2 months in order to enable him to continue his novel.

I know that you generously have assisted him a year ago and I sincerely hope that you will help him a second time to fulfill his task.

Thanking you in anticipation for all you can do,

Yours very sincerely,

{P. Tillich (Details anzeigen)}
Professor at Union Theological Seminary, New York City (Details anzeigen)
