Dear Paulus:

Thus is just to remind you of yesterday's telephone conversation when you were kind enough to agree to join the new sponsoring committee for our project on anti-Semitism, and to ask Dr. Niebuhr to do the same.

You also suggested that you would invite one or two clergymen of your own choice to join this committee, and I need hardly tell you how grateful we would be if you could do this.

May I take the coincidence of our conversation and your meeting Gretel at the subway as a hint of destiny that the period of our meetings may be a bit shortened.
